RE: Dear Mr. Elephant

Albert, sorry to hear it.   That was one sweet car and I know it's such a hassle to then go through the insurance game, but most importantly glad you're up and around.

Keep us posted on your new ride.  Thumbup

RE: Dear Mr. Elephant

Albert - Missed this post until now. I'm sure glad you will be ok. Looks like a nasty crash! Makes my little back bumper damage on my baby seem so insignificant.

Slowpole events into the future:

Marathons: Mardi Gras 2/24/13, Colorado 5/13/13?, LVM 11/17/13

Tri's:  Leon's World Fastest Tri Olympic 6/2/13?, Beach 2 Battleship Ironman 10/26/13

RE:  Dear Mr. Elephant

Melissa, Hillard, Dennis, Jerry, David, Kevin, Leon:

Thanks for the warm welcome back. Not sure how I missed acknowledging some of you in my previous post. I guess I was still in 'shell shock'!

I decided that I'm getting too old for fancy sport cars and have just bought a 2007 Toyota Prius like the one below:

I am now doing my bit to save the planet! ;)

BTW, I still have a slight neck pain, but now have the full range of motion (I only had about 35 degrees right after the accident.) It's good to be able to look back without having to turn my whole body! I think just one more PT session should do it.

Albert

In NSR since 11/25/08.
Get adequate amount of sleep every night!

You know, Albert - Al Gore III got hauled in on drug charges after being chased down in a Prius - at 100 mph!:scared:

So, that Prius, however "green" it is, can actually haul a$$...

Hillard, aka Mr. Runner Angie

<---  It's spring! Time to get back on my bike!
