RE: LVM 21 Big Craps Blowout – 2007

Okay you perverts, listen up!  This is how you play craps.

It all starts with a come out roll from a new shooter.  So before that happens you place your bets.  You want your money on the pass line.

So now the dealer give the shooter the bones and we have the come out roll.  If a shooter shows a 7 on the come out roll, this is good and everyone screams.  The pass line gets paid even money and the shooter starts all over.  But, if the shooter craps (2,3, or 12), you lose your pass line bet.  If the shooter rolls a yo (11), this pays even money, just like a 7.

Any other number 4 - 10 (minus the 7) is a point.  The shooter has made his point and your pass line bet now is hoping he or she hits the point again before rolling a 7.  Once the point is made, you'll want to place odds behind your pass bet, since this is a 50/50 proposition.

You also can put more money on the come.  This play is similar to the pass line, except it is for the NEXT roll from the shooter after his or her point has already been made.

Big 6 and big 8 are sucker bets.  You'd be better off going with a hard 4, 6, 8, or even a hard 10.  Just keep in mind that you are more likely to see a soft 6 or soft 8 before you see a hard 6 or a hard 8, so they don't pay as much as a hard 10 (or hard 4 for that matter) does.  If you are hoping for a hard 10 and shooter gives it to you, that's when the table screams the loudest.

The shooter keeps shooting as long as possible until he or she craps out.

Oh yeah, and don't play the field.  That just gets you in trouble.

Comprende?

You forgot to explain World bets, horn hi yo, something hopping and all that other stuff, I wish I could remember the names of them. There are just WAY too many kinds of bets to keep them straight. I usually stick to the ones that you explained. I have to say it is a very fun game but so much to know!

Yeah, but "place bets" and "world bets" just don't have any sexual innuendo, so I couldn't work them in...

I finally sniffed out this thread.....I land at 2 PM but imagine the pasta party will break up whenever and while heading out from that event a table will be CALLING.....as stated back in 2005, there is nothing more exciting on the planet than a hot craps table!!

CPAK, Klink, Bill, et al......save some chips for me.

And one of my favorite lines, "You boys better head down to the basement and get some more chips..."
