Hi Powbu!

And Bill, it would be great to have you at the run!

I'm thinking about it.  Is this really a run, though?  Or do we just lip-sync something in French and then throw extremely large gloves at each other?

Bill, It really is a run. Although we do lip sync when we sing the Canadian anthem, and swear in French, and throw the gloves at passerbys.

To make it really Canadian and take it up a notch, I could bring a couple hockey gloves to be thrown.

Are we expecting a fight?

I run because I can....and for those who can't.

I guess we shoud explain that reference ... last year CanadaKevin (who is the nicest guy you could ever meet!) was wearing gloves at the start of the marathon ... apparently they were large ... i believe DickieV described them as baking mitts ... anyway he went to toss them and beaned someone off the head with one of the mitts ... and then yelled "Hey, who did that??"

I still giggle thinking of that ... and I wasn't even there!!!!! It's LVM lore ...

Hi All,

Dan and I (and I think Ross) will be coming out for the Canadian run. Can someone please repost the Time, Location, and Distance we are running?

Tamara

Sure,

We will be meeting Saturday morning at 10 AM at the MGM Grand (in front of the Lion statue.) We will take a few group photos and sing the Canadian anthem. Then we will run south to the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' and finish up at the Mandalay Bay. So the total distance is a couple of miles.

The giant lion is on the corner just so there is no mix up. There will be folks there as early as 9:30, remember to bring a camera and your best smile.

If you're coming to the expo after the run, look for me at the Las Vegas Track Club booth. I should be there until 12/12:30pm.
Stop by and say hi!
