I received this reply direct from Tim "Machine Gun" Kelly:
We recognized that we had some problems loading the corrals last year, so we built in quite a few changes.
1 - leaving the convention center by the Shark Reef athletes will have two paths to the corrals: one flowing east to LV Blvd, then south to the back of the corrals; one flowing south toward Russell Rd., then east to the back of the corrals
2 - all runners will load from the back (some of you excepted)
3 - an athlete's bib number will identify which corral he/she/it is in
4 - there will be 4 corrals: elites at the front, sub-3:00-00, sub-4:00:00, everyone else
5 - that sea of humanity will occupy 3 traffic lanes
6 - traffic lane 4 will be filled with the Roadrunners, the Wedding Chapel folks, the Running Elvi
7 - the western curb lane will be open for southbound athletes to get to the back of the corrals
8 - there will be multiple spill-over points from the parking lot to the sidwalk to that pedestrian lane instead of the one channel to the sidewalk that we had last year
9 - there will be 30 theatre style signs inside the building and out in the parking lot that direct runners to Sweat Storage, and to the corrals
10 - there will be 15' wind flags identifying the corral entry points that even Stevie Wonder could read
That ought to be convincing.
