RE:R*FFLE

Let me run it by the orphans in Kenya...

I see at as needless confusion. I think people will be generous with their donations to this worthy cause, and the chance of winning something is just a bonus. I plan to make most of my donation just as a money order. Maybe I'll buy a few raffle tickets for fun. I'm holding back some of my money for the banana fundraiser as bananas are my customary midnight snack, middle of the night snack, and 1 hour-before-race-time meal. Mmmmmmmm.

I can add another gift in. I just need someone in the Vegas area that will let me ship stuff to thier address. I can send out a mix of snack nuts including but not limited to Dark Chocolate Macadamias, Cashews, Mix Nuts, Chocolate Coverd Almonds and many others.

RE:R*FFLE

Thanks Jeff... sounds like a good addition to Don & Tammy's basket (the coffee and tea)

More additions are welcome to be added to the existing baskets.

Can a local PM Jeff with their address so he can send this stuff out. Sounds like a great addition to the baskets!

AS for the ticket pricing. Simple is best at this point. I already have enough to do and keep track of with out having to do math as well :)

RE: R*FFLE

The basket I have is not huge... so if someone still wants to add something, that would be a great addition (whatver it is you have)!

May the course be with you.

RE: R*FFLE

What kind of stuff is going in your basket Lesley? Like Christmas holiday stuff? Maybe I can make some cards or something to tuck in there.

RE: R*FFLE

There are candles and Christmas-scented bath scrubs or something (you can tell I paid attention). I think adding anything would be good. :)

May the course be with you.

RE: R*FFLE

I have an idea for a basket, but I can't make it because a) I don't have the recipes and b) even if I did, I'd screw it up c) I live down here and can't access all that Canada has to offer.

However, maybe some generous person from the north would be willing to put it together. I, for one, will fork over all my raffle tickets for this one, if it exists.:HappyDance2::HappyDance2::HappyDance2:

Canadian Garbo-loading Basket
Ketchup-flavoured potato chips
Coffee Crisps
Nanaimo Bars
Butter Tarts
A selection of Canadian Beer
Other Canadian goodies... although fries and gravy don't really sound all that appetizing... sorry
