Numbers

Looks like there are 14,390 people registered so far as of today. Should be a slightly bigger crowd than last year.

Can't get exact numbers for full vs half, but I am predicting just under 5,000 for the full and over 9,000 for the half.

Upcoming Races
Las Vegas Full/Half Marathon, Nov 16th
Gilbert Half Marathon, Nov 22nd
Fiesta Bowl Half Marathon, Dec 14th
PF Chang's Marathon, Jan 18th

14,390, wow that's almost 15,000. It's going to be quite an event with nearly 16,000 runners hitting the street. Just thinking about those 17,000 dedicated souls warms my heart. Quick do a press release announcing the 18,000 participants.

Donald,

Don't forget that this probably counts everyone who is listed as registered twice!

RE: Numbers

You know I am not sure if you can count the people driving by on the freeway as spectators any more than the people in their hotel rooms asleep...but other than that, I'd expect over a million people! Oh, and 20,000 runners...well if you count the Santa Run and round up after that...oh, and plus one.

have fun everybody!
