O.K. we are at the half way point for the year. I haven't figured out if there are any goals for this month. Does anybody use ZICO Coconut Water as a recovery drink?

RE: July 2015

halfway through, eh?
well I'm at 937.6 - 67 miles behind where I should be to achieve my 2015 miles in 2015 goal.. plenty of time to make it up but I can't really slack off..

other than that all things are good.

coconut water for recovery? well it's good for rehydration but I'm not sure there's anything in it that would promote muscle recovery..

Halfway is ok, I'm on track I think: getting in some runs despite the heat, and haven't gained any weight.

I haven't tried the coconut water, sounds tasty though, don't know how effective.

RE: July 2015

Halfway already! Because I am following the Hanson Plan for my marathons now and because of my streaking, I have accumulated much more mileage this year than usual. So far I have 1094 miles. Barring injury, I should smoke my personal record for miles in a year (1461).

Have not tried the coconut stuff either.

July goal is to just keep to my training plan for running, increase my swimming and biking some and possibly do an olympic distance tri.

Marathons:Wineglass 10/1, LVM 11/12
1/2 Marathons: TBD
Other: MI Titanium Half Iron Tri 8/20

RE: July 2015

Yay, I got my route back. The lake has finally gone down enough I can run next to the water and get some shade, it's just too hot on the roads out in the open except really late or really early. Now if it will stay dry long enough for some of these giant mosquitoes to die I'll be set for the summer.
